Configurations

SDSC's 200-seat auditorium can be configured into a single large space or multiple smaller spaces. Auditorium rental includes an outdoor patio with tables and chairs.

Standard Configuration

The auditorium's standard configuration provides seating for 130 in a combination of tablet and armed chairs in two-thirds of the space. Chairs are arranged in rows facing two large screens and a podium on the east wall. Rectangular tables sit along the north and west walls. Entrance doors are on the west wall.

The remaining one-third of the space is separated by a partition and holds a combination of rectangular and cafe tables, with one large screen on the east wall. Four rectangular tables are arranged side-by-side in the center of the space to create a single large surface area which can accomodate a buffet. Two rectangular tables and five cafe tables are spaced around the perimeter. The kitchen and patio open from this space.

Custom Setup - Maximum Seating

Maximum seating accomodates 200. A combination of tablet and armed chairs are arranged in rows facing three large screens and a podium on the east wall. Entrance doors are on the west wall.

Custom Setup - Classroom

Rectangular tables are arranged in rows, each with three chairs facing the front of the room. This arrangement may be set up to use the full length of the auditorium, or the classroom may be set up in two-thirds of the room with the remaining one-third partitioned as in the standard configuration. Thirty rectangular tables are available.

Custom Setup - Angled Tables

Rectangular tables are set in pairs with eight chairs each arranged around all sides. This arrangement may be set up to use the full length of the auditorium, or the angled tables may be set up in two-thirds of the room with the remaining one-third partitioned as in the standard configuration. Thirty rectangular tables are available.

Custom Setup - Round Tables

Round tables are spaced throughout the room with ten chairs each. They are set up in two-thirds of the room with the remaining one-third partitioned as in the standard configuration. Twelve round tables are available.
