John Graham works at the crossroads of technology and environmental science, developing cyberinfrastructure at UC San Diego's San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC). He plays a leading role in projects such as the National Research Platform, which aims to expand large-scale data sharing capabilities for the research community. A charter member of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation, he has applied satellite data to disaster-response efforts in partnership with organizations including the U.S. Navy and NOAA. Earlier in his career, he contributed to work with NASA's Advanced Communications Technology Satellite (ACTS) program, supporting its use in education and research. Throughout his career, John has maintained a consistent focus on using technology to advance environmental understanding and impact.
