SAVE ASER is used to specify that, for all kept hits, an ASER file is saved.

Basic QUEST Procedure

The equivalent control command in Basic QUEST is discussed under SAVE.

ASER is the file format of the search file - in other words, if ASER is saved for accepted hits the output file represents a subset of the total database and can itself be subsequently searched by QUEST or QUEST3D.

It should be remembered that if the number of accepted hits is large then sufficient disk space must be available to accommodate the saved output file.

Graphics QUEST3D Procedure

An ASER file will be saved for all kept hits.

If you change your mind you can toggle off the SAVE selection.
