The above graphic represents a colour poster produced by the University of Calgary Women in Science & Engineering group, which was distributed to all junior-high schools in Alberta.


The University of Calgary Women in Science and Engineering Group is a student club that officially came into being in September 1990. WISE offers Career Talks, Guest Speaker Lectures, Physics Tutorials, Summer Jobs Workshops, and the chance to mingle with other students as well as practising scientists and engineers through our Connections Program. WISE is funded by membership fees, donations and the Deans of Science and Engineering.

Purpose:

To foster and promote the participation of women in science and engineering education and careers.
