I use the computer mainly for entertainment - it is like a best friend to me. I can talk with people miles away, especially my e-mail penpals, visit a site in a country I haven't even heard of. It is amazing what computers can do. We don't have a lot of rules and I usually know when something is not right. I use the Net for my own interests or for school projects. There are some great graphics there and they make cool Title Pages.
I have learned good communication skills, like how to express my ideas easily. I go into a lot of detail and make things awfully confusing. My parents are great and really support me, not to brag or anything but I do participate in a special enrichment program once a week at a different school.
Basically I refuse to be treated like a girl - I really stand up for equal rights, even if it is in a light manner. My parents really encourage me and were really pleased when I showed them my web-page. {Amazed is more like it} I think the tables are starting to turn in some areas, but girls still have to stand up for what we believe in.
I really want to be an equine veterinarian and I love science. I am at the top of my class and I do have a lot of problems facing that. My teachers are encouraging and my Science teacher and I do joke around a lot. I have good realtionships with most or my teachers {don't tell my french teacher that!} I love Math and Science because they are so challenging and I love the sort of things you have to do. They are very much related and I love to push myself to the limits. I was a runner-up at my school science fair , and a constant A student in both fields.
I use the Internet basically for entertainment, but I also love the stuff I can do. My dad just started to teach me some C programming, but my Math skills are not quite that high yet even though I sort of understand the concept. I have come across some places that are not suitable, but I leave those ASAP. The Internet has made my life so much more interesting and has helped me develop my own personality in a way.
