Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

The problems here are from the exercises in Chapter 1 of AI: A Modern Approach.

Note that we cannot cover in class all the material in the relevant sections of the book. You are expected to read carefully all the assigned book sections, plus the appropriate summary sections. Also, you will find it very helpful to read and think about most of the exercises in the relevant chapters.

For the questions below that ask for an answer in English, you should write between one and four paragraphs. Be sure to answer exactly the question(s) that are asked: don't be too general.

You should feel free to make appropriate assumptions. However you should state explicitly any assumptions that you make.
