Almost 4 years ago several of the children present today began attending the ECEC.
Megan, Maggie, Nazare´, Robert, Eliah, Scott, and Colin Page
were mere toddlers when they began sharing their days together.
Byron and George were 2 of the original teachers assigned to take care of our children in 1995.
They have been an incredible asset to our lives.

How many of you received a gift of "Dinosaur Sneeze" this week?  A few?
And how many of you looked at your child and said, "Itís what???"
How many of you have decided where you are going to display this special gift?

This year our children have given us many treasured gifts and have continued to fill our lives with wonderful memories.  They have grown immensely in the past year ó physically, mentally, and emotionally, and have been blessed with outstanding teachers.  In addition to Byron and George, Leonor, and a head teacher that has been a true gift ó Nancy.  Their efforts have not gone by unnoticed and today, the children of Room 7 wish to present them with a special gift.

The gift that we, your children, wish to present to you today symbolizes our love and appreciation for all that you have done for us.  We have come together from all walks of life and you have shown us the true meaning of love and friendship.

Each quilt square includes our handprint, name, date and place of birth.  When you look at this quilt, please remember how special you are to each one of us. You have held our hands, patiently and lovingly taught us, protected us, offered guidance and support, wiped our tears, made us laugh, and have helped us prepare for the road that lies ahead.

We will always remember you.
