ECEC Graduation Speech by
Vice Chancellor-Business Affairs Steven W. Relyea

It is an honor for me to be here today to take part in this wonderful event.

Families, friends, and staff - we are here today because we care about our future,
and our future lies in the hands of our children.
As we guide our children through life, we must give them every opportunity
to succeed and equip them with the decision making abilities
that will prepare them for the road that lies ahead.

Our children are a gift given to each and every one of us.
Enjoy them, laugh with them, and play with them.
Acknowledge their achievements through every stage of their lives.
Most of all, love them.

At this time I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge
the significant amount of work on the part of Josie and her teaching staff,
and the parents, families, and friends of the children who will be graduating today.
You all deserve a round of applause for a job well done.

And now, if you would all please rise.  I am honored to present our graduates - Room 7's Class of 1999.
