Welcome to Nadia's Home Page

My Korean name is Min Jung Lee.
Nadia means hope.
I was born on July 26, 1995 in Korea, with a birth weight of 2.85 kg and a height of 46.2 cm.
My hobbies include sleeping, drinking formula and apple juice, saying "agoo", and bathing, and watching the dogs Hanah and Chelsea. For a picture of me from December, 1995, click here .

The following is a picture from my first birthday. It is the Korean tradition to be offered choices, which allegedly fortell my future life. For my birthday, I had choices of a bowl of rice (indicating wealth), money (this is obvious), fruit (for health), a book, a pencil, a pen (all indicating scholarly work), ruler (for talent with sewing - yes - old habits are hard to die - my dad wanted to put a wrench there, but mom said NO), noodles and yarn (for a long life).

I chose a pen and pencil (I think my parents were hoping for wealth, having had enough of the scholarly life) (July, 1996).

In October, 1996, we went to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. This was my first vacation. While we were at Bryce Canyon, it snowed (first snow too!). Here is a picture of my time there, with my mom.
