The Molecular Interactive Collaboration Environment (MICE) is a Java program which enables you to interactively view and collaboratively share 3D protein structures from the Protein Data Bank (PDB). MICE requires that you have the appropriate Java components installed on your local computer system. These Java components enable you to run MICE (and other Java programs) either as stand-alone applications or as applets from within your favorite web browser.
The best way to run MICE is as an applet from within your favorite web browser. You can either go directly to the MICE website, or, you can run MICE as one of the structure viewing options from within the PDB web site.
MICE Applet (PDB website) - Enter a PDB id code, click "Explore", choose the "View Structure" link, choose the "MICE ..." link.
