In the book, the following Chapters and/or Sections contain material on Special Functions, Fourier Series, and Fourier Transforms. You should read these portions:

• Chapter 3
• Sections 4.6 and 4.7
• Sections 5.5, 5.6, 5.7

IF at the end of the course there is time to do some Laplace Transforms we will add that, but we'll see how it goes. In about every other homework there are problems covering this material that you are responsible for. The first homework set that contains problems on Special Functions is Homework No. 3 and it involves only Chapter 3.
