Collaborative AVS Users Manual
We have augmented the capabilities of the Application Visualization System (AVS) to support cooperative data analysis and visualization tasks between two or more geographically distributed scientists and researchers. Click here for more information regarding this project.

 
 

Massively Parallel Interactive Rendering Environment
Researchers at the San Diego Supercomputer Center have developed a distributed direct volume rendering system which utilizes advances in HPC architecture, and web programming. Called MPIRE, this system can dynamically render multi-gigabyte volume datasets. Click here for more information.
