Gribskov, that's a russian name, right?

Actually, it's not. Although it almost means something in russian (perhaps a person whose ancestors were mushroom gatherers), the name "Gribskov" is danish. The "skov" ending means forest, and Gribskov is a large forest in the northern part of Sjælland, which is circled in the map below. Gribskov itself is near the town of Hillerød, near where my great-grandfather Anders Jensen lived before emigrating to the U.S.
