In 2006 I climbed America's highest paved road. Mt. Evans, climbing nearly 7 thousand feet in 28 miles from Idaho Springs Colorado to the summit at 14,264 feet. Click here for a 5 minute video of the upper portion of the climb starting at Echo Lake at 10,000 feet.
