Tutorial Title: Visualization Training at SDSC: Preparing/Translating Data for use with VisIt application

**Computer with VisIt2.4.x or newer installed
**Temporary training accounts will be provided on Gordon
Optional: C++ compiler
One of the biggest hurdles in visualization is translating the data into a format that is supported by visualization application. This tutorial focusses on getting users acquainted with the data formats supported by VisIt and how to write a simple custom data reader and a very brief introduction to in-situ capability of VisIt.
This is both an in-person and a webcast event. Local attendees are encouraged to attend in person while webcast may be more suitable for others.
