Visualization Services

Visualization is a key component of discovery and understanding within the science and engineering community. SDSC's visualization services provide users with assistance, tools and images that help bring science to life. The center's data visualization collaborations span a spectrum of scientific domains from visualization of cancer data to magnitude 7+ earthquakes to cosmological models of the early universe. The visualizations created at SDSC help researchers see their data from many different perspectives, leading to innovations and discoveries in their respective fields. In addition, the visualization team's recent partnerships with members of the gaming industry will result in new technologies that allow researchers to easily create 3D environments to bring their scientific findings to light.
