SDSC offers industry partners, researchers, educators, and students the opportunity to strengthen their skills and knowledge in High-Performance and Data-Intensive Computing, as well as in many other fields in technology and science.
The Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) is the most advanced, powerful, and robust collection of integrated advanced digital resources and services in the world. It is a single virtual system that scientists can use to interactively share computing resources, data, and expertise. XSEDE offers training classes to teach users how to maximize their productivity and learn new technologies for using XSEDE services. The training classes focus on systems and software supported by the XSEDE Service Providers, covering programming principles and techniques for using resources and services effectively. Below you will see a course catalog of current and future courses.
The Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA) is a collaborative undertaking among organizations in the commercial, government, and research sectors aimed at promoting greater cooperation in the engineering and maintenance of a robust, scalable global Internet infrastructure. CAIDA hosts a number of workshops on various networking related topics.
A partnership with UC San Diego Extension offering Data Science Training in Machine Learning, Data Mining, NoSQL, Spark, and related courses.
The SDSC Summer Institute is targeted to individuals interested in data science and computational science—especially current and potential users of SDSC's data-intensive resources.
