Dr. Kim Bak Olsen, Associate Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at San Diego State University, uses resources at the San Diego Supercomputer Center to predict the degree and impact of ground motion that occurs during massive earhquakes such as those centered around the San Andreas Fault in Southern California.
