What's Up with Clusters at SDSC?
This presentation will share some of the recent efforts in SDSC's
cluster activities in both hardware and software. We'll bring you
up-to-date on recent procurements, and introduce you to the "Clusters
Team". In addition to sharing with you the motivation behind
much of the commodity cluster activity, we'll also update you on various
UCSD cluster collaborations. For those that are interested, it will
also include a hands-on show-and-tell of some of our recently acquired
high-density commodity cluster equipment.
The San Diego Supercomputer
Center (SDSC) is a research unit of the University of California,
San Diego, and the leading-edge site of the National Partnership for
Advanced Computational Infrastructure. SDSC researchers conduct studies
in computational science, develop high-performance computing and networking
technologies, and participate in NPACI activities.
