PageKit® is a mod_perl based web application framework that uses
HTML::Template and XML to separate the Model, View, Content, and Controller.
This provides elegant solutions to many difficult web programming problems,
including session management, language localization, authentication, form
validation, and co-branding.

Boris will give a general introduction and describes the benefits
of using the pagekit framework. He will also address such topics as
which projects can benefit from it's use and how to overcome the initial
hurdles that it's deployment may pose.

Interested attendees are welcome to join Boris for a more in-depth
discussion after the usual Q&A round at the end of the presentation.
Boris also agreed on meeting with interested groups to specifically discuss
how to integrate their Perl project with the Apache::PageKit on April
28th. Please feel free to use this unique opportunity and hands-on
assistance to jumpstart your web project with PageKit® and contact Hannes
Niedner hannes@sdsc.edu if you wish to schedule a session.
