ELEMENTS is used to construct a test for the presence of a specified element or set of elements.
Basic QUEST Procedure
The equivalent test construction in Basic QUEST is discussed under *ELEMENT.
It should be read carefully before using Graphics QUEST3D.
Graphics QUEST3D Procedure
Ex. 1 * Select ELEMENTS
The SEARCH menu is replaced by the ELEMENTS sub-menu - see (i) below.

Please use the cursor to select the elements which MUST be present. Select DEFINE-ELEMENTS when you have completed the list (To de-select an element, simply re-select it.)

Are any other elements allowed to be present ? [Y]
The SEARCH menu is restored.

A search conducted with this exclusive test would register hits for (iii) and (iv) but not (ii). Note that although you have specified that no other elements should be present, this does NOT apply to carbon which is always allowed to be present.
