TERSE is used if logical operators in the question line are to be indicated by + , - rather than .AND. .OR. .NOT.
Graphics QUEST3D Procedure
Ex. Suppose you have composed two tests T1 and T2.
Note that the logical operator .AND. is surrounded by a red box since it is the default operator.
Note also that VERBOSE is surrounded by a red box to indicate that it is active.
In the dialogue area we have:
The current QUEST line is: QUEST Please select a test or a logical operator. Select "START-SEARCH" to begin.
Select the test T1
In the dialogue area we have:
The current QUEST line is: QUEST T1 Please select a test or a logical operator. Select "START-SEARCH" to begin.
In the dialogue area we have:
The current QUEST line is: QUEST T1+T2 Please select a test or a logical operator. Select "START-SEARCH" to begin.
TERSE can be useful if the search question involves the combination of many tests and you wish to conserve space on the question line.
