RESET-LOGIC

RESET-LOGIC is used to reset the logical combination of tests to reconstitute the search question.

Ex. Suppose you have composed two tests T1 and T2.

• Select QUEST from the BUILD or SEARCH menu.

• The BUILD or SEARCH menu is replaced by the QUEST sub-menu.

  Note that the logical operator .AND. is surrounded by a red box since it is the default operator.

  In the dialogue area we have:

  The current QUEST line is:
  QUEST
  Please select a test or a logical operator. Select "START-SEARCH" to begin.

• Select the test T1

• The test T1 is now surrounded by a red box.

  In the dialogue area we have:

  The current QUEST line is:
  QUEST T1
  Please select a test or a logical operator. Select "START-SEARCH" to begin.

• Select the test T2

• The test T2 is now also surrounded by a red box.

  In the dialogue area we have:

  The current QUEST line is:
  QUEST T1.AND.T2
  Please select a test or a logical operator. Select "START-SEARCH" to begin.

• Select RESET-LOGIC

• The red boxes around T1 and T2 now vanish.

  In the dialogue area we have:

  The current QUEST line is:
  QUEST
  Please select a test or a logical operator. Select "START-SEARCH" to begin.
