*RCPn are used to test for a specified value or range of values of reduced unit cell parameters.

The six reduced unit cell parameters a, b, c, alpha, beta, gamma can be individually searched using the keywords *RCP1, *RCP2, *RCP3, *RCP4, *RCP5, *RCP6 respectively.
Graphics QUEST3D Procedure
Select *RCP1 or *RCP2 or *RCP3 or *RCP4 or *RCP5 or *RCP6 from the NUMERIC sub-menu and respond to the standard numeric prompts.
Basic QUEST Procedure
Ex.
T1 *RCP2 15.13-15.15
This will register hits for all entries having reduced cell b-value in the range 15.13 - 15.15Å.
Remarks
All six parameters are stored as floating-point numbers (a, b, c in Ångström (to 5 decimal places) and alpha, beta, gamma in degrees (to 4 decimal places)).
To cater for experimental errors such searches should always be expressed in terms of a range of values.
