Function

*NRESIDUES is used to test the value of the number of chemical residues.

Graphics QUEST3D Procedure

Select *NRESIDUES from the NUMERIC sub-menu and respond to the standard numeric prompts.

Basic QUEST Procedure

Ex.

T1  *NRES  .EQ.  1

This will register hits for all entries having one chemical residue.

Normally such a test would not constitute the total search query. Rather it could be used, in conjunction with other tests, to exclude multi-residue structures such as solvates and ionic compounds.
