Function

*CELA, *CELB and *CELC are used to search the author's unit cell dimensions, a, b and c respectively.

Graphics QUEST3D Procedure

Select the required item in the NUMERIC sub-menu and respond to the standard numeric prompts.

Basic QUEST Procedure

Ex.

T1  *CELA  10.0  15.0

This will register hits for entries having the author's unit cell a dimension in the range 10 - 15 Å.

Remarks

These items are variance as floating point numbers, and so QUEST requires a decimal point in values used in these tests.

To cater for experimental variance, such searches should always be expressed in terms of ranges of values.
