GRID

Function

GRID allows the editing operations to be applied to a hexagonal or square grid of points in the drawing area.

This grid of points facilitates the construction of "tidy" and symmetric fragments.

The maximum number of grid points allowed is 2000. If the grid spacing is so small that more than 2000 points would be needed, the program will warn:

This illustrates that after a grid is deleted it is actually held in store and can be re-instated at a later stage of the session.
