Function

OPTIONS ORTEP is located in the 2D display for each hit.

It allows you to write a file for input to the ORTEP program.

Remarks

ORTEP is the Oak Ridge Thermal Ellipsoid Plot Program written by C.K.Johnson.

It is primarily used for plotting thermal ellipsoids but can be used as a simple plot program displaying atoms as spheres rather than ellipsoids. This latter option applies to the CSD since the database does not contain thermal parameters.
