Volume 2 Chapter 4 Display Menus COLOUR ELEMENT COLOUR HIGHLIGHT COLOUR MONO
These display commands are located in the 3D display for each hit.
They allow you to colour the 3D crystal diagram with respect to residues or symmetry- related molecules.
RESIDUE
Ex.
For Tektronix 4100 series terminals the maximum number of colours is 7; crystal residues 7,8,etc. are all coloured yellow.
For Tektronix 4200 series and Silicon Graphics terminals the maximum number of colours is 15; crystal residues 15, 16, etc. are all coloured grey.
SYMM-OP
Ex.
Note that two molecules related only by a translation along a cell axis have the same colour.
If the unit cell contains only one residue then it is coloured white.
For Tektronix 4100 series terminals the maximum number of colours is 7;
crystal residues 7,8,etc. are all coloured yellow.
For Tektronix 4200 series and Silicon Graphics terminals the maximum number of colours is 15; crystal residues 15, 16, etc. are all coloured grey.
