1D DISPLAY

1D Display

If the To 1D button in the LOGO area is selected, the current display is replaced by the 1D display, as shown below.

This display provides an easy way to obtain a summary of the textual and numeric pieces of information for the current `hit' entry.

If the search has tested any of these pieces of information, wherever possible they will be highlighted in a different colour, in the same way as atoms and bonds are highlighted in the 2D and 3D displays.

This provides useful confirmation that the search is proceeding as required. For example, a search :

T1   *XNAME   BUTADIENE
may display buta-1,3,diene - thus confirming that the software has indeed stripped out the non-alphabetic characters.
