Function

DELETE-CATEGORY deletes an entire template category (for example, 62-Boron-cages) from the template file.

Users of the VAX version should note that a new version of the template file is created by every QUEST3D session in which the template file is modified in any way. You may revert to an earlier version if a category is inadvertently deleted.

The master template file may not be modified. Please read the section in "WRITE-TEMPLATE" entitled "Creating Your Own Template File" for instructions on creating a template file which you may modify.

Example

Suppose you have been working on a project, Project1, and this project is now complete.

You wish to remove the associated category and templates, to make room for the next project.

Select TEMPLATE in the BUILD menu.
Select DELETE-CATEGORY

Please select a set of TEMPLATES, or CANCEL  if you don't want a template.

Select Project1

The menu area is erased, and the template categories are redrawn, with Project1 deleted.
