TEMPLATES: DELETE-TEMPLATES

DELETE-TEMPLATES allows users to delete one or more individual templates from one category at a time.

The speed of retrieval of templates towards the end of the file is very much dependent on the number (and size) of templates preceding the required entry.

Thus, you may wish to delete any templates that you are confident you will never use.

Users of the VAX version should note that a new version of the template file is created by every QUEST3D session in which the template file is modified in any way. You may revert to an earlier version if a template present in a previous session is inadvertently deleted.

Example

• Select TEMPLATE in the BUILD menu.

  Select DELETE-TEMPLATES

• Please select a set of TEMPLATES, or CANCEL if you don't want a template.

• Select the required category.

• The category names are replaced by a display of all the templates in the chosen category.

  Please use the cursor to toggle templates to be deleted:
  Click outside the menu area when you are ready to delete templates.

• Select the templates you want to delete. Those templates currently selected are shown with red boxes around them. Reselecting a template causes it to be "de-selected", and its red box disappears.

  When you click anywhere outside the menu area, the selected templates are deleted.
