11.1 Graphics QUEST3D

11.1.1 Continuation of the Search

11.1.1.1 CONTROL KEEP

It allows you to keep the current hit, write appropriate information to the output file(s) and continue the search.

Ex.

• Select KEEP

• The reference code, number of hits and the ordinal number are replaced by Searching...

11.1.1.2 CONTROL REJECT

It allows you to reject the current hit and continue the search.

Ex.

• Select REJECT

• The reference code, number of hits and ordinal number are replaced by Searching...

11.1.1.3 FAST NODIAG

It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying, for each hit, the reference information in the current display mode.

Ex.

• Select NODIAG

• The search proceeds in a fast continue mode displaying, for each hit, the reference information in the current display mode.

11.1.1.4 FAST DIAG

FAST DIAG is located in the 2D, 3D and 2D/3D displays for each hit.

It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying, for each hit, diagrams and reference information in the current display mode.

Ex.

• Select DIAG

• The search proceeds in a fast continue mode displaying, for each hit, diagrams and reference information in the current display mode.

11.1.1.5 FAST REFCOD

It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying, for each hit, the reference code.

Ex.

• Select REFCOD

• The search proceeds in a fast continue mode displaying, for each hit, the reference code.

  These are displayed as follows:

     >Hit = AMCILL
     >Hit = AMOXCT10
     etc.

  Reference information for the hits is not saved in the journal file.

  After every 1000 entries the hit statistics are displayed.

  The search will continue uninterrupted to the end of the database, provided that the STOP-LIMIT (default 1000 hits) is not exceeded.

  When the end of the database is reached QUEST3D is exited.

11.1.1.6 FAST HIT-STATS

It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying only the hit statistics after every 1000 entries.

Ex.

• Select HIT-STATS

• The search proceeds in a fast continue mode

  displaying only the hit statistics after every 1000 entries, for example:

      4 hits after 2000 entries, 99% screenout at ANDRON10

  Reference information for the hits is not saved in the Journal file.

  The search will continue uninterrupted to the end of the database, provided that the STOP-LIMIT (default 1000 hits) is not exceeded.

  When the end of the database is reached QUEST3D is exited.

11.1.2 Termination of the Search

11.1.2.1 CONTROL EXIT

It allows you to exit from the search; the current hit is not accepted (kept).

Ex.

• Select EXIT

• Are you sure you wish to EXIT? [N]

• Type Y <R>

• The screen clears, summary statistics are displayed and the search terminates.

11.1.2.2 CONTROL STOP

It allows you to stop the search after keeping or rejecting the current hit.

Ex.

• Select STOP

• OK, job will EXIT after this entry ... 

• * Select KEEP

• xxxxx STOP limit exceeded!  >Exit (Y/N) ?

• Type Y <R>

• The screen clears, summary statistics are displayed and the search terminates.

11.1.2.3 CONTROL QUIT

It allows you to quit the search and return to the BUILD or SEARCH menu.

Ex.

• Select QUIT

• The screen clears and the original menu (BUILD or SEARCH) is restored.

  If the quitted search involved a structural fragment then the fragment is restored in the drawing area of the BUILD menu.
