Volume 1 Chapter 10 Display of Hits in Basic QUEST

It allows you to keep the current hit, write appropriate information to the output file(s) and continue the search.
Ex.
It allows you to reject the current hit and continue the search.
Ex.
It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying, for each hit, the reference information in the current display mode.
Ex.
FAST DIAG is located in the 2D, 3D and 2D/3D displays for each hit.
It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying, for each hit, diagrams and reference information in the current display mode.
Ex.
It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying, for each hit, the reference code.
Ex.
These are displayed as follows:
>Hit = AMCILL >Hit = AMOXCT10 etc.
Reference information for the hits is not saved in the journal file.
After every 1000 entries the hit statistics are displayed.
The search will continue uninterrupted to the end of the database, provided that the STOP-LIMIT (default 1000 hits) is not exceeded.
When the end of the database is reached QUEST3D is exited.
Note that the display of hit statistics after every 1000 entries applies strictly only to the MIP implementation.
It allows you to proceed with the search in a fast continue mode to the end of the database displaying only the hit statistics after every 1000 entries.
Ex.
displaying only the hit statistics after every 1000 entries, for example:
4 hits after 2000 entries, 99% screenout at ANDRON10
Reference information for the hits is not saved in the Journal file.
The search will continue uninterrupted to the end of the database, provided that the STOP-LIMIT (default 1000 hits) is not exceeded.
When the end of the database is reached QUEST3D is exited.
It allows you to exit from the search; the current hit is not accepted (kept).
Ex.
Are you sure you wish to EXIT? [N]
It allows you to stop the search after keeping or rejecting the current hit.
Ex.
OK, job will EXIT after this entry ...
xxxxx STOP limit exceeded! >Exit (Y/N) ?
It allows you to quit the search and return to the BUILD or SEARCH menu.
Ex.
If the quitted search involved a structural fragment then the fragment is restored in the drawing area of the BUILD menu.
